With a diameter of 15 cm, this transparent PET lid fits round paper bowls with 500, 650, and 800 ml capacities. For salads, bowls, and desserts to go, the contents remain visible through the lid – practical for service and display.

Practical for operations: The transparent cover protects prepared dishes and their toppings; filled bowls can be securely stacked with the lid and presented attractively in counters or refrigerated displays. Regarding disposal: separate the lid and bowl – the PET lid belongs in the recycling bin, while the paper bowl goes in the paper waste or compost.

For salad bars, delicatessen counters, and catering, the lid makes toppings visible in the display. The matching bowls can be covered for pick-up and delivery services.

Our transparent PET lids were specially developed for professional use in the take-away and delivery sectors. They offer a secure fit, high-quality presentation, and reliable everyday usability.

Frequently Asked Questions

The lid is designed for the round paper bowls in the same series with 500, 650, and 800 ml capacities – all three sizes have an identical opening diameter of Ø 15 cm, meaning one type of lid covers the entire size range. This simplifies inventory management and packing processes. For the 1000 ml bowl (Ø 18.5 cm), the matching PET lid in Ø 18.5 cm is available.

The transparent PET lid makes the contents visible without having to open the bowl – a tangible sales advantage in the refrigerated display, at the deli counter, and for delivery services, as freshly prepared salads and bowls sell based on their appearance. At the same time, the lid protects the contents from contact and dust, keeps toppings in place, and makes filled bowls stackable. PET is the established material for this: dimensionally stable, shatterproof, and transparent.

The PET lid belongs in the yellow bin or yellow sack (recyclables collection). It is important to dispose of the components separately: the paper bowl is home- and industrially compostable as well as recyclable with waste paper, while the lid is made of plastic and is sent to plastic recycling via the recyclables collection. Simply separate the lid and bowl before disposal to allow both materials to be processed correctly.

The PET lid is also designed for fast operations: it fits perfectly without any fuss and is stackable in counters and delivery boxes. Available in 50-packs for smaller businesses and events, in cartons of 300 (6 x 50), and as a 5-carton unit with 1,500 pieces – matched to the quantities of the corresponding paper bowls so that bowls and lids can be reordered in the same cycle.
