Yes. The palm leaf plate is made of 100% pressed palm leaf without any coating and without binders or additives. Its home compostability is certified by DIN CERTCO (Home Compostable, reg. no. 9P0064), and its industrial compostability according to EN 13432 (reg. no. 7P0602). After use, it can therefore go directly into your garden compost. Whether palm leaf tableware can also be disposed of in the organic waste bin is regulated differently by local municipalities – a glance at the local waste regulations is sufficient. Unlike coated cardboard, no plastic residues remain.
