Our sustainable tableware is made from whole palm leaves that come from controlled cultivation and is therefore the perfect alternative to plastic tableware.

The soup bowl is splinter-free, stable, tasteless and is free of any chemical additives. The bowls are also oven, microwave and refrigerator safe.

Palm leaf is exactly what good food deserves: inherently climate-neutral material with a natural lotus effect, uncoated and free of chemical additives, manufactured in a production facility certified to FSSC 22000 and ISO 45001 standards:

Yes. The palm leaf bowl is made of 100% pressed palm leaf without any coating and without binders or additives. Its home compostability is certified by DIN CERTCO (Home Compostable, Reg. No. 9P0064), and its industrial compostability by EN 13432 (Reg. No. 7P0602). Therefore, it can be put directly onto the garden compost after use. Whether palm leaf tableware can also be disposed of in the organic waste bin varies by municipality—a quick look at local waste regulations is all it takes. Unlike coated cardboard, no plastic residues remain.

Yes, with clear limits: in the microwave up to 500 watts for a maximum of 2 minutes, in the oven up to 180 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes. This allows food to be kept warm or briefly reheated – practical for catering and buffets. The refrigerator is also no problem. The material provides good insulation, making it comfortable to handle even warm food.
