Palm leaf is exactly what good food deserves: natively climate-neutral material with a natural lotus effect, uncoated and free from chemical additives, manufactured in a production facility certified to FSSC 22000 and ISO 45001 standards:

Yes. The palm leaf tray is made of 100% pressed palm leaf with no coating and no binders or additives. Its home compostability is certified by DIN CERTCO (Home Compostable, Reg. No. 9P0064), and its industrial compostability according to EN 13432 (Reg. No. 7P0602). After use, it can therefore go directly onto the garden compost. Whether palm leaf tableware can also be placed in the organic waste bin varies by municipality – a quick check of the local waste disposal regulations is sufficient. Unlike coated cardboard, no plastic residues remain.

Yes, with clear limits: in the microwave up to 500 watts for a maximum of 2 minutes, in the oven up to 180 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes. This allows food to be kept warm or briefly reheated – practical for catering and buffets. The refrigerator is also no problem. The material provides good insulation, making it comfortable to handle even warm food.
